The World of The Mysterium Scrolls is the fascinating world created by Sam Melika that is intended for deep role play settings, enjoyable reading, and challenging epic quests molded into an organic, continuously developing saga with heroes, villains, politics, religion, mystery, economy, guilds, and races set out against each other for one mere reason; to eternally unleash either the powers of light or the powers of darkness into the known physical world. This ever evolving world is a parallel universe, in many ways, to ours. Many of earth's history, notable figures, clashes of nations, empires and emperors, spirituality and various religions are delicately crafted into this fantasy universe. The intrigue comes as each reader tries to decipher and have his/her own interpretation on who and what the figures and events of the Mysterium Scrolls represent. Of course the content is also filled with pure fantasy and fictional environments and figures that are meant to stand on their own in the story itself.

In the end the readings will not just free your imagination to our fantastical world but each reader will feel that certain parts of the story are really a reading of his/her own life. You will come out enriched through the many proverbs, the lessons learned by our heroes, the tragedies the world faces, the romance and the treachery of mortals, and the way destiny leaves its mark on each of our heroes' lives as events unfold.

Finally, for three years the epic saga was role played in a virtual world environment where actual people through their avatars expressed their true humanity inworld. The outcome was the attainment of fascinating elements that were added within the saga itself, making it more real. Naturally, each of those characters did not just role play within the epic saga, but also brought their real life personalities and humanity to the story. This meant only one thing; the blending of realism with fantasy. In the story, especially in the heroes section, few of those characters were chosen to be foundational anchors to the entire epic. Those will be noted of course, so the reader knows who they are.
